The ideal candidate will have immigration experience, including deportation/removal cases and waivers. This job can be remote, hybrid, part-time and/or contract work. Candidate must be familiar in preparing legal briefs, motions and petitions before EOIR, USCIS, ICE, CBP and must have prior immigration court litigation experience. MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE OVER MASTER AND INDIVIDUAL HEARINGS ON A SMALL CASELOAD! Must be familiar with Family petitions, asylum cases, SIJS, U-Visas, waivers (including I-601A, I-601, I-212), cancellation of removal . Candidate must have experience working with USCIS and the Immigration Court. Must have excellent communication, writing, time management and analytical skills. Position will focus on master and individual removal defense, asylum, waivers, representation at USCIS interviews, motions to reopen, and appeals. Attorney must also be willing to assist with initial client consultations. Must speak Spanish and must be an independent self starter who can manage a small caseload.
